At High Mountain Stables, we enjoy sharing our love of horses with you. We offer trail rides, overnight campouts, wagon rides, surrey rides, and a free petting zoo. All rides are safe for beginners.You will be matched with one of our well-trained horses and guided by professional wranglers.

We have a beautiful location for your outdoor adventure. In the spring/summer High Mountain Stables is open in Mormon Lake, Arizona, where you will ride beautiful mountain trails through the tall pines. Don’t miss the elk herd that summers here or the other wildlife. Spring or summer, we have a trail ride that’s right for you.

Free Petting Zoo
Come meet our special friends at High Mountain Stables. We have Arnold the pot-bellied pig, Kera the palomino miniature horse, Sissy the sorrel miniature horse colt, Shorty the miniature donkey, Patches the pony, and of course, and a trio of goats: Casper, Thumper and Nan. All are friendly and welcome scratches behind the ears--and a carrot or apple!
